Bedroom

collection

After 30 years in the interior design business, there has never been a project that didn’t include the bed and bath. In particular, the bedroom. It is where most spend at least one-third of their lives. The bed is singularly the most important piece of “furniture” anyone owns. It’s the “go-to” place for people to rest, sleep, unwind, rejuvenate, and heal. Therefore, at Mia Casa Curata, we believe it’s worthy of attention, care and the respect it deserves.
The philosophy behind the Mia Casa Curata bedding collection is subtle, classic and timeless. We hand-choose our cotton and linen threads for weaving into luxurious heirloom quality fabrics, adding unique embroidery patterns found only at Mia Casa Curata. Regardless of the design, our decision to only offer white-on-white in a variety of finishes and textures comes from a long-held conviction that the bed should be a pristine, understated backdrop that complements any wall tone, any fabric, any accessory, any type of design–from contemporary to antique—should do nothing but highlight our client’s surrounding décor, and that shall forever remain our focus.
In a world full of superfluous, overexaggerated and misinterpreted descriptions, Mia Casa Curata offers only three options, meant to be mixed and matched, creating the possibility for a customized combination of textures. Long staple cotton Percale, organic cotton Sateen and elegant ironed Belgian Linen make up our elegant bedding collection. Most noteworthy is our decision to never make pillowcases—only pillow shams. In Euro-square, King, Queen and Boudoir. As an elegant finishing touch, Mia Casa Curata offer the highest quality woven organic cotton, woven organic cotton and silk for our coverlets, Icelandic Eiderdown for our duvets and pillows, and 4, 8 or 12-ply Himalayan cashmere throws and blankets in custom sizes with borders ranging from silk embroidery to contrast-color cashmere or suede. Additionally, Mia Casa Curata offers toppers made of the highest quality organic mohair, alpaca and cotton fills to not only protect the bed top but add a customized layer of comfort chosen specifically by the client adding years to the life of the mattress.
Our linens are offered with a choice of single lettered monograms in a choice of five different styles and sizes in fifteen color options, as well as classic white, should our client wish to tie their bedding into any specific color they feel will enhance the beauty of their room. The design professionals at Mia Casa Curata are available to work with each client individually, at no additional charge, to ensure this customization is exactly what the client expects. It is this attention to the client–to detail–that sets Mia Casa Curata apart from any other online boutique. Swatches and thread color samples are available on request.

bath

collection

The days of a simple, utilitarian bathroom have ceased to exist. From faucets to sinks, showers to tubs and floors to walls, the contemporary bath has become a space for indulgent luxury. A place of tranquility where cabinetry is now “furniture”, tubs are now art while walls and floors have become canvases for creative patterns utilising marbles, onyx’s, hand-made tiles, mosaics and even hand painted murals. Lighting, be it ceiling or wall, is yet another design element that is typically requested in baths that now rival in size of an average bedroom. Aside from the kitchen, bathrooms, new or renovated, can be the costliest rooms in the home.

Mia Casa Curata’s towel collection is designed with that in mind. With so much planning, time and money spent on the environment, we believe it should be accessorized accordingly. We went to the finest manufactures, worked diligently to redefine the “towel”, and are launching weaves unique in the marketplace. The typical “towel” is automatically assumed to be terry—terrycloth. But not for the designers at Mia Casa Curata.
